Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - get information about some famous places in Phu Yen, in Vietnam and in the world through activities. - improve reading comprehension skill by doing true-false statements, multiple choice and answering questions exercises. II. Language Focus: - Grammar: Revision - New words: excursion, day off, cave, rock, permission, persuade. III. Teaching Aids: - Pictures of Huong pagoda, Thay pagoda, Ha Long Bay, Ganh Da Dia, Xep Beach, Sydney Opera House, Rio de Janeiro. - The trailer of the film Hoan Yen. - Projector, extra boards, textbook. IV. Procedures: Stages/ Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Time Warm – Video: the trailer of the film “Hoan Yen” up (8 minutes) -T asks Ss to watch the short video and answer the questions. -Ss watch the video and do the task. St’s answers: 1. Hoan Yen 2. An Hoa ,Tuy An, Phu Yen. -Ss answer the questions individually. Questions: 1. What’s the name of the film? 2. Where can you see the scenes in the film? 3.
